How to Talk Dirty to a Guy - The 3 Top Tips to Remember

How to Talk Dirty to a Guy - The 3 Top Tips to Remember

Have you had that heart stopping moment yet when the guy you are in bed with turns to you and says 'Talk dirty to me baby"?

How to Talk Dirty to a Guy - The 3 Top Tips to Remember

It can be a bit of a breath catching heart stopper, I have to tell you. Certainly threw me for a minute or two until my brain whirred back up to speed.

Catching Fire

How to Talk Dirty to a Guy - The 3 Top Tips to Remember

But it shouldn't be anything for you to get worried about or to suddenly become nervous, stammering like a cap gun on quick fire.

How to Talk Dirty to a Guy - The 3 Top Tips to Remember

How to Talk Dirty to a Guy - The 3 Top Tips to Remember

Remember these three top tips for talking dirty and you'll sail through it easily.

1. Guys are very basic. If you can relate your talking dirty to something they can visualize at the same time, you are going to either double or triple his enjoyment and he is going to be inundated with sensory overload. This in turn will make him think you are an absolute sex genius and the hottest thing he has ever known in his life!

Try saying something to him that draws his attention to your body or something that you are doing to him at the time. Stroke him and say 'Does that feel good baby?" Trust me, he'll say yes or grunt something at you, his voice very decidedly higher than normal probably.

When he does, change your stroking and motion and ask again "How about this - is that good too?" In other words - tease him! He will seriously love it.

2. Men are carnal beasts at the best of times. Subtle might work for some but in the majority of cases - basic is best! Don't try and get all arty farty with your guy - give it to him right between the eyes.

Tell him exactly what you want to do to him and what you want him to do to you. Use the 'F' word and as many dirty words as you feel comfortable with at the time - depending on how turned on you are and how well you know the guy! DO NOT be subtle - be direct and forceful in your language and intentions and he will respond.

Make him feel big, strong and manly! Play to his ego and his self worth with comments such as "You are so big" "Kissing your body really makes me ....." "I love the way you .....". Make it a praise statement and make it related to actual sexual activity and you are, again, on a winning run that he will lap up and want more.

Naturally - if he is a bad kisser or has a not so hot body - think of something else for which to praise him. Remember to keep the comments real and based in fact - that way they are instantly believable and devastatingly effective.

Fuses in Electrical Appliances

Fuses in Electrical Appliances

One aspect of electrical appliances that tends to cause a lot of confusion is the question "What fuse should this appliance have?" In this article, we look at fuses in detail and give guidelines on how to work out the correct fuse for the appliance.

Fuses in Electrical Appliances

Fuses in Electrical Appliances

Fuses in Electrical Appliances

Fuses in Electrical Appliances

Fuses in Electrical Appliances

What are fuses?

A fuse is an electrical component that is designed to prevent the flow of current that is higher than the value of the fuse. Eg a 3A fuse will "blow" if the current through it exceeds 3A.

Fuses are used in circuits to prevent excessive currents flowing under fault conditions and causing a fire. All mains Plugs used in the UK are fitted with 3A, 5A or 13A fuses. The primary purpose of the fuse is to protect the mains cable and prevent it melting and/or catching fire under fault conditions.

The value of fuse used is based on the power of the appliance. A higher powered appliance, such as an electric heater will take more current and will typically require a 13A fuse along with a cable that can carry this level of current.

Fuses are colour coded for easy identification as shown below.

3A - Red
5A - Black
13A - Brown

Fuses in moulded mains Plugs

As these Plugs are moulded to the cable the fuse in these can be fixed by the manufacturer. They know what the maximum current that the cable can carry and the fuse is selected to protect the cable and "blow" if the current exceeds the capacity of the cable.

The value of the fuse that is fitted inside the moulded plug is marked on the outside. This makes the Job of checking the fuse in a moulded plug very easy. Just lever out the fuse and check that the value is the same as that marked on the plug.

Fuses in rewireable mains plugs

These are plugs which the user can wire. These plugs can handle a maximum of 13A of current and are marked as such. Many people assume that this means a 13A fuse should be used in this appliance which is a mistake.

The fuse used in rewireable mains plug is sometimes marked on a paper label fixed to the plug or is referred to in the user manual. But in many cases, the person inspecting the appliance has to work out the value of the correct fuse.

First of all one needs to find out what the power consumption of the appliance is. This is usually indicated in Watts on the rating plate.

Example 1

An iron is fitted with a 13A fuse and the power consumption of the appliance is 1900W. As this is greater than 700W, this is the correct fuse for the appliance.

If the cable on this iron is being changed, then it is important to replace it with an identical type, capable of carrying 13A.

Example 2

The advice on the rating plate of this lamp says that the maximum lamp that can be fitted is a 40W one. The plug is fitted with a 13A fuse.

As the power rating is so low, we can quickly see that the fuse is too high and has to be changed to a 3A one.

Example 3

This sandwich toaster has a plug fitted with a 13A fuse and according to its rating plate has a power consumption of 700W. As this is right on the decision threshold, what should we do?

In general, heating appliances are fitted with a 13A fuse. If in doubt, check the cable used for this sandwich toaster. If it is capable of taking 13A, then a 13A fuse is the correct choice.

What is the relationship between Watts and the fuse rating?

There is a simple calculation to determine this. Just divide the Power (in Watts) by 230V (mains volTAGe in the UK) to work out the current (in Amps) taken by an appliance.

In Example 1 above, this would be 1900W/230V which gives us a current of 8.3A. One can see that a 3A or a 5A fuse would blow constantly if used in the plug for this iron leading us to choose a 13A fuse.

This is how we get to our 700W decision threshold. An appliance with 700W power consumption takes a current of 700W/230V which is 3A. Below this we can use a 3A fuse and above this we use a 13A one.

Example 4

A travel kettle for use around the world on either 110V or 230V has a 13A fuse fitted and is rated at 600W. The cable used is capable of taking 13A and the kettle has a switch to select 110V or 230V operation. Should we change the fuse to 3A as this is below our 700W threshold?

If we use the calculation above, we can see that the current taken by the kettle is only 2.6A (600W/230V). So a 3A fuse should be acceptable.

However, when the kettle is used, say in the US, the switch would be set to the 110V position. When the kettle is in use, it will take 5.5A (600W/110V). So a 3A fuse would keep blowing.

On this travel kettle, as it is designed for 230V/110V use and has a 13A cable fitted, the use of a 13A fuse is the correct choice.

Example 5

This drill has a power rating of 570W but is fitted with a 5A fuse. Using our calculation it only takes a current of 2.5A (570W/230V). Why is it not fitted with a 3A fuse?

Some appliances, like drills take a surge of current when switched on, which can exceed it's normal operating current of 2.5A. If a 3A fuse is fitted, one would find that this would frequently blow in operation.

In this case, the 5A fuse that is fitted is the correct choice. Remember: If the fuse fitted is 3A or 5A do not change it.

Fuse Labels

Once a plug has been checked for the correct value of fuse, it is good practice to "seal" the plug. If on future inspection this seal is intact, then this is a good indication that no one has tampered with the wiring or changed the fuse.

How can you tell if a cable can take 13A?

The size of a cable is indicative of its current carrying capacity. So the easiest way to check a cable's current rating is to check its diaMeter. If the outer diaMeter of a cable is around 7.5mm or more then it is very likely to be rated for at least 13A. Each conductor also has 40 wires in it.

Remember: If the fuse fitted is 3A or 5A do not change it just because the cable rating is 13A. Only check the cable rating is correct if the fuse is 13A.

Reviews of Top Three Stun Guns

EquipMents like stun guns and pepper sprays have come into the scene due to the personal security requireMent.

A stun gun is a tool for self- defense that temporarily disables the attacker. A shock of a low ampere but high volTAGe is passed on to the attacker when the victim uses the stun gun , this in turn, results in disrupting the communication from the brain of the attacker to the rest of the body causing some confusion, weakness and disorientation. The attacker is "stunned" and so the name "stun gun". The attacker is disabled temporarily providing enough time for the victim to run and escape from there. The stun gun must be continuously used for sometime to stun the attacker (this depends on the power of the gun and the size of the person). The stun gun also makes a loud sound catching the attention of anybody who is nearby and help maybe at hand soon in some form, if one is lucky.

A stun baton is superior to a stun gun in that it is more powerful and therefore a stun baton may have an effect Faster and could be more intense. Also, the range of a stun baton is greater than that of a stun gun.

Stun guns can be categorized into three main types depending on the volTAGe and their other characteristics.

o Static gun. This stun gun works on static charge and the power of the gun ranges from 80000- 625000 volts using 9-20 watts.

o The Phase Induction Gun. It provides the current through phase induction. The power of the stun gun ranges from 100000 to 625000 volts using 7 to 15 watts. The Talon brand manufactures the phase induction gun and is found to be very effective.

o Electro Muscular Disruption. The Taser brand manufactures this type of stun guns. The use of the gun temporarily paralyses the muscles. The stun gun can be used from a distance of upto 21 ft. There are many different models available of the same.

There are many stun guns that do not look like a gun at all and therefore, cannot be easily identified by an attacker taking him by surprise.

One must ensure that the battery of the stun gun is fully charged or else you may be taken by surprise in case of any attack. The stun guns and pepper sprays are good tools for personal defense. There are but different rules in different countries regarding the use of stun guns and pepper sprays and awareness about the law of the country is necessary before purchase of any of these for personal security.

Why Do Laptops Catch Fire?

Why Do Laptops Catch Fire?

I'm sure everyone reading this has at some point read a horror story in the press or seen a report on the news regarding to gadgets like a laptop or mobile phone suddenly overheating and bursting into flames without any warning whatsoever. In many circumstances where this unexpected event has occurred it has resulted in severe damage to property or human life.

Why Do Laptops Catch Fire?

Why Do Laptops Catch Fire?

Why Do Laptops Catch Fire?

Why Do Laptops Catch Fire?

Why Do Laptops Catch Fire?

Now it isn't just the users of these items who are concerned about this dangerous side effect but also the manufacturers of the electronic equipMent too. It was only last year that Packard Bell made it into the news due to the fact that they had to recall a number of their laptop Computers due to fire safety concerns of the batteries.

The laptops in question that caught fire all used lithiumbatteries and until recently no one had managed to come up with a reason as to why they should over heat so quickly and catch fire. That is until now. Scientists at Cambridge University in England have now announced that they believe they have found the answer as to why this odd phenoMenon is happening.

They have found that it is all to do with the growth of the metal fibres contained within the lithium batteries. The metal fibres are known as dendrites and it's a case that when lithium batteries are charged up rapidly or repeatedly, small lithium dendrites start to form on the carbon anodes which then causes short circuits. These are then responsible the devices rapidly overheating and thus catching on fire.

The scientists at Cambridge University, whichis one of the worlds leading seats of education used Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR) to see how the dendrites formed inside of the lithium batteries. This technique is normally used to identify eleMents in molecules.

Thanks to using NMR they can actually take a peek inside of the batteries and see the changes that take place in real time while the battery is being used. Prior to this they relied on things such as theoretical models or optical as well as via scanning electron microscopes to study the dendrites. I know NMR has now represented a major leap forward in this field of study.

Thanks to the research carried out at the University they can see what conditions cause the problem and so manufacturers can start to adDress the problem and produces far safer modelsfor the consumer market.

One of the Professors at Cambridge, Clare Brown, was quoted as saying, "These dead lithium fibres have been a significant impediment to the commercialisation of new generations of higher capacity batteries"

She continued, "safety must be solved before we can get to the next generation of lithium-ion batteries and before we can safely use these batteries in a wider range of transport applications. Now that we can monitor dendrite formation inside batteries, we can identify when they are formed and under what conditions. Our new method should allow researchers to identify which conditions lead to dendrite formation and to rapidly screen potential fixes to prevent the problem. "

Thanks to this research we should now start to see vastly improvedbatteries on the market that are safe to use and will no longer present a possible fire hazard.

To fight a lithium fire actually requires a specialist extinguisher known commonly as an L2 which is designed specifically to tackle such a blaze safely. Metal fires are in actual fact extremely dangerous and notoriously hard to fight.

Any scientific or industrial environment using metals such as lithium or magnesium need to be properly protected with extinguishers such as the L2 or M28. They work by using special applicators and powders designed to safely tackle the metals involved.

In your home you should also ensure you are protected and a standard ABC powder model extinguisher should be sufficient.

Phoenix Tattoos Are the Best Choice For New Beginnings

In Greek, ' phoenix ' means ' palm tree ' but to most of us we know the phoenix as the mythological bird of fire. Many ancient cultures contain stories about the phoenix which, like the sun, dies in flames and rises each morning.

Christians came to see this as a metaphor for resurrection and Jewish legends talk about the Phoenix as the one creature that didn't leave paradise with Adam (and so wasn't tempted by ' forbidden fruit '). To the Chinese, the phoenix represents virtue and grace and in Japan the Phoenix is often combined with the dragon. Also, don't forget that the North American Indians have the Thunderbird which is a take on the Phoenix legend.

In short, the phoenix lives for 500 years and then sets fire to itsnest and is consumed by the flames, only to be reborn from the ashes.

Today ...

Today, the phoenix represents reliability, kindness, duty and often has feminine connotations. If you've been through a transformation because of adversity in your life, then the flames of the phoenix should be special to you. It's a great way to express a new beginning in your life and a symbol of moving on.

The Phoenix Tattoo ...

Here are a few things to consider:

1. A phoenix tattoo needs to be quite large to get all the detail to stand out clearly. The back is a great area to have one inked, or maybe the chest. You need a bold stateMent. This is not a tattoo to wear discretely on your ankle!

2. You need lots of color-orange, yellow andred. However, don't be afraid to use a touch of blue, gold, copper and green to add your own unique touch.

3. Do you want the phoenix to be engulfed by flames or bursting from ashes? How about displaying your phoenix surrounding the globe so that you can portray the passing of time?

4. How about using an Egyptian phoenix design? Here, the phoenix has a man's body but with large wings. This would be different and certainly eye-catching!

As you can see, there are lots of things to consider when deciding on the style and design of your phoenix tattoo. Don't rush the process as this is going to be a big project that you want to be proud of.

Here's to a new beginning!

The mechanical engineering field has many areas of expertise, such as water heaters, boilers, heating units, HVAC systems and hood exhaust fans, to name a few examples.

Typically the HVAC contractors don't have much knowledge about hood installation, but because it's mechanical, they can figure it out.

It is apparent to everyone that nowadays a lot of the restaurant owners and managers are giving hood installation contracts to HVAC contractors.

There are few companieswho handles all aspects of Air handling who have the whole process in mind during installation. This means that general contractors have only one company they can turn to that is proficient in both areas and it's a lot less headache for these contractors as they to do business with fewer companies.

Besides being less of a hassle for contractors, using one company for all the air handling aspects of project provides optimum air balancing, minimizes redundancy in set-up, streamlines permitting processes, requires less paperwork and lowers costs by five to 10 percent. Considering that these restaurant mechanical engineering projects can range from $ 50,000 to $ 500,000, that is significant savings.

Since a lot of preparations for hood systems overlap with HVAC preparations, whenthose are done in conjunction it keeps costs down. For example, significant money can be saved on equipMent rentals when one contractor is doing all of the work. Renting cranes at $ 200 an hour and renting special ladders and scaffolding adds up, especially when several contractors are charging those fees to the general contractor or the client.

Normally, when you rent a crane, you pay a minimum of two hours, regardless of whether the Job takes 20 minutes. It makes sense to have one contractor do all the work that requires a crane than to have three contractors rent that piece of equipMent separately.

The permitting process also is cheaper when one contractor is pulling all of the permits. It's a lot of little things that add up.

Reducing the number of contractors on aJob kao3 lv4 also the risk of air balancing issues. There is a chance when several contractors are involved in an air handling system that the air balancing won't be correct.

If one contractor doesn't do the air balancing properly, that could affect the whole building, and finding the source of the problem could be difficult.

My Electrical Outlet is on Fire-What Do I Do Next?

You should probably do what most people do, run around yelling and screaming for help. Okay, forget what I just said, even though that is what most people tend to do when there's a home emergency like this.

My Electrical Outlet is on Fire-What Do I Do Next?

My Electrical Outlet is on Fire-What Do I Do Next?

My Electrical Outlet is on Fire-What Do I Do Next?

Most electrical outlet fires starts when something is Plugged in to the outlet that is drawing more electricity than the outlet was originally designed for. Most of the houses built today have circuit breakers installed to prevent things like this from happening, but that doesn't guarantee anything. Just like everything else, sometimes electrical breakers fail to shut off during an emergency.

If there is an electrical outlet fire, make sure that your children and everyone else is in a safe location first, before anything else. Make sure that your handsaren't wet and that you're not standing in the water, before you even think about opening up the main electrical panel. If you don't feel comfortable, contact 911 immediately.

If your electrical outlet catches on fire, the first thing that you're going to want to do is turn the main electrical breaker off to the house. If you don't know which one of your electrical breakers is the main one, turn off all of them. You can safely assume that all of the electrical breakers will be in the on position, but they should have on and off sides that are clearly visible for help.

Now what do you do, when you're electrical outlet catches on fire and you don't know where you're electrical breakers are located. You can look for your electrical breakers in the main electricalpanel, which should be located near the electrical Meter.

Most electrical Meters and main electrical panels are going to be located on the outside of your house, but they could be located in your baseMent, if you have one. If you can't turn the electrical breakers off or if the electrical outlet continues to burn and smoke, you should contact your local fire departMent, because you're in the middle of a home emergency damage.

Preventing Common Kitchen Accidents

Preventing Common Kitchen Accidents

It is not surprising that more household fires and accidental burns start in the kitchen than every other room of the house combined. More accidental burns can be prevented with just a bit more awareness of the surroundings. By following a few simple tips, one can ensure the safety of their family from burn injury.

When Cooking a meal, try to plan in advance what will be prepared. The chaos of the evening, combined with several burners on the stove being in use can very quickly result in a kitchen fire or burned child. If the meal is planned in advance, at least before the Cooking begins, a pot is less likely to be forgotten on a hot stove.

Also, always be sure to turn pot handles in, away from the front and sides of the stove. Stray pot handles hanging overthe edge of the stove could prove too much temptation for a little one who cannot quite reach, but can't wait for dinner. Pot handles extending outwards could also be hit by adults and accidentally spill, resulting not only in a mess, but potential burns to the chef's body or any children in the area.

Make sure that all messes are cleaned up as they happen in order to prevent any stray fires. If even a little oil splatters on the stove top and it is not properly wiped up, lighting that burner can immediately ignite and become out of control. If oil ever catches on fire, never use water to extinguish the fire, as it will only make the fire spread. Try to smother the fire using a pot cover or to extinguish it using your fire extinguisher control key. Make sure that all pot holders and kitchen dish Cloths are at least a few inches away from the stove top, as they are quite flammable.

Lock away all cleaning materials no higher than your head. Locking the chemicals prevents children from obtaining access to potential skin burns. Storing the cleaning products above your head could prove just as dangerous to you as leaving them out may prove to your child. When trying to reach the products, they could spill on your face or in your eyes and cause burn injuries or even blindness.

Tie back long hAir and roll up long sleeves while Cooking. Despite the amount of caution exercised while cooking, stray Cloth or hAir could ignite and cause very serious injuries.

Who Invented the Flat Iron?

Who Invented the Flat Iron?

Flat irons, also known as hAir straighteners, are basically two hot metal or ceramic plates that come together to iron the hAir flat so that wavy or curly hAir appears straight and hangs naturally. This process of straightening the hAir is not permanent and washes away the minute the hair strands become wet. Flat irons are similar to curling irons as they make the hair conform to the position that the owner wishes their hair to be styled in. The irons remove hydrogen from the hair forcing it to keep the shape it has been styled in until such time as water is added and the hydrogen is replaced in the hair. They became popular with woMen back in the early 1960's and have been in use every since.

The first iron devices were created in 1872 by Erica Feldman who took some heated iron rods and applied them to the head to shape the hair into a style she wanted, and although it was not her that created the actual flat iron for straightening the hair it is important to note her contribution as she is the person who first used hot iron to shape the hair. The actual inventor of the flat iron was Lady Jennifer Bell Schofield who actually created the first straightening iron in 1912. Her device consisted of two metal plates that rested between a hinge assembly, what is similar to what we use today, although the products used in those days were much more durable than today's models, but much less safe.

Today, many modern technologies have been applied to the product which include the application of electricity to heat the plates, temperature controls have been put in place to protect the device from catching fire or catching anything else on fire, and many other improveMents have taken place, which made the flat iron much safer for both the salon stylist and those using them at home. Commercial irons did not come on the marketplace for the average user until the 1990s and were only available in the hair salons up to the point, so anyone wishing their hair straightened paid a handsome price to have it done. Today, flat irons are for sale in most departMent stores, grocery stores, drugstores, and hair Supply stores.

Throughout the history of the flat iron several patents have been taken out that claim to have the best flat iron and the most economical one, but the most notable patent was taken out by a man named Issac Shero in 1809, in which he invented the flat iron that most resembles the one we currently use today. Although there have been many patents taken out, they have not really changed much since early 1809, and look and perform basically the same as they have since that time.

Over history they have been found to damage the hair if the hair is not treated correctly, so if you use a flat iron more than twice a week you should ensure that you deep condition your hair every day and have a hot wax treatment done at least once each week, which will prevent your hair from drying out and becoming brittle after continual use of a iron. This will also decrease the number of split ends that appear in your hair and will keep your hair looking healthier.
